"Airport pickup was smooth tbh"
Used Turo with airport delivery and overall it went well. The car was already waiting in the lot, and the host sent directions that were clear enough. Took me a few mins to actually find it, but it wasn’t a big deal lol. Def way easier than dealing with the rental counter. 4 stars...

"I had to cancel a car…"
I had to cancel a car last minute, i was expecting it to be a whole headache. But turo made the process fairly easy. The refund details were laid out clearly enough, so I wasn’t left guessing what was going on. The only thing was, it took a little longer than I thought it would for the money to show back up. I reached out to support, though, and they explained it in a way that made sense. So yeah, not totally perfect, but overall, I was happy with how it was handled

"I’ve used Turo a few times…"
I’ve used Turo a few times now and overall it’s been a good experience. The cars have been fine and the process is usually easy enough. The one thing I’d say is really pay attention to the return time, because even being a little late can lead to extra charges. I get that they have rules, but part of me wonders if they count on people cutting it close so the fees kick in. Maybe that’s just me being suspicious, but I do wish there was a little more grace built into the policy

The car itself was totally fine, no real complaints there. But trying to change my trip times was, well, it ended up being way more annoying than I expected. The app made it seem easy at first, then suddenly there were fees and approval steps popping up. If your plans change, it really doesn’t feel that flexible, which kind of defeats the purpose for me.
"Mileage Limits Made It Stressful"
Turo was fine overall, but the mileage limits threw me off. I didn’t even feel like I drove that much, and somehow I was still checking the miles constantly like I was on a budget road trip challenge. Make it make sense. The car itself was totally fine, but the stress of watching the mileage and knowing extra miles could add up fast kind of ruined the experience for me. I probably wouldn’t use it again unless the mileage rules were way more reasonable

It got here with a few small dents, which was disappointing. They’re not huge, but definitely noticeable enough that I saw them right away. I considered reaching out to customer service, but I don’t have a lot of faith that it would be handled without a hassle, so I’m probably just going to live with it
"Roadside Help Really Came Through"
About an hour into my trip, I ended up having a tire issue and used Turo roadside assistance through the app. It did take a bit to get someone on the phone, which was frustrating at first, but I’m grateful for how things went once I got connected. They were helpful, sent a tow truck to my location, and the driver kept in touch the whole time. The host was also really easygoing about everything. It wasn’t perfect because of the wait, but in the end, it definitely saved my day

"Okay car, but communication not great"
I’ve used Turo before and had it be totally fine, but this trip was not the best, honestly. The car itself was okay, nothing really wrong there, but the host was barely replying to messages and I kept having to ask the same things again. Pickup details came late, and drop off was confusing too, which made things more stressful than they needed to be. I don’t expect someone to answer instantly, but just basic communication, it would’ve helped a lot.

The car was ready when he said it would be, so pickup was easy... no hassle there. There was a small delay when I returned it, but nothing major. Overall, it was fine, smooth experience.

I paid for my trip with zero hassle, and the receipt showed up so fast I actually did a double take. Like, is it always this smooth? Everything was simple, worked perfectly, and I was probably way too impressed for something so basic, but hey, I’ll take it.

"Good car, but the final price felt misleading"
The car itself was totally fine, so no complaints there. But am I the only one who feels like the fees aren’t clear enough until checkout? The price looked really good at first, then once the trip fee, protection, taxes, and everything else got added, it ended up being way more than I expected. I just wish Turo showed the actual total earlier in the process. It felt a little sneaky and made booking more annoying than it needed to be.

It took longer than I expected, and it did feel like things weren’t exactly moving unless I checked in, but the claim was eventually sorted out okay.

"Freezes too much and feels overcomplicated"
The app freezes on me way too often, and trying to find basic trip details takes more taps than it should. I don’t really care about all the polished company talk about being “seamless” or whatever, if I can’t quickly pull up my trip info without the app hanging, it’s just frustrating

The plans were really clear and easy to understand, so there wasn’t any guessing involved. I’d definitely recommend it if you want something straightforward and simple to follow.

"Availability was frustrating"
Turo was kind of frustrating this time. Ugh. A bunch of cars looked available in the app, but when I messaged the hosts, some never replied and others said the car wasn’t actually free. Annoying. I had to change my plans last minute and ended up paying more somewhere else. The app itself is easy to use, but the availability really needs to be more accurate

"Dropoff was really easy"
I used turo for a weekend trip, and the dropoff was super easy. I just parked the car where we agreed, took the pictures, and I was done in a few minutes. Only reason I’m giving 4 stars is because the app was kinda slow uploading the photos.

"Dispute got worked out, just took a bit"
After my trip, there was a small issue where the host charged me for something that didn’t seem totally fair to me. I ended up opening a dispute with Turo and uploaded the photos and messages I had from the booking. It wasn’t exactly fast, since I had to wait a few days and follow up once, but they did actually look into it and the charge was reduced. I’m happy with how it turned out overall, I just wish the whole process moved a little quicker.

"Policies could be a bit clearer"
The car itself was totally fine and the trip went okay overall. I just kind of assumed the fees and rules would follow the usual pattern and be easy to spot upfront, but a couple things weren’t really obvious until later. turo works well enough, I just wish the policy details were a little easier to understand before booking

"Car was fine, but the deposit was annoying"
The car itself was totally fine and did what I needed, but the whole security Deposit situation was frustrating. They held my money longer than I expected, and every time I reached out to support, the answers felt really vague. It wasn’t the worst experience ever, but I don’t feel like using turo again anytime soon
